Orlando Tunic White Deadstock

Orlando Tunic White Deadstock

$185.00

After falling in love with a moment in the film this is a style I’ve been working on for ages. I wanted to bring the romance of that moment to life. The Orlando blouse is trimmed with ruffles at the collar and cuffs. The shirt sleeves are massive and cinched at the forearm and wrist, ending with a soft ruffle to fall over the hand. The volume in the shirt extends to the body and it looks fantastic tucked into a skirt or high waisted trousers.

There are two lovely deadstock* fabric options:

  • Rayon Herringbone - This material has gorgeous drape and is a touch sheer. The herringbone weave lends it a raised texture and gives it some lovely visual interest Rayon is made of woodpulp and is known for it’s softness!

  • Sheer Cotton stripe - The stripes are woven into this material, with alternating sheer and satin bands. It’s very soft and has a bit more body than the rayon, though I imagine it will hangs closer to the body after it’s washed. It reminds me of some of the lovely sheer regency materials we often see in period dramas!
